when I want to send a pdf file to my clients it turns up in their mail box as a winmail.dat file which they cannot open ans when the file is redirected to my CRM it also converts to a winmail.dat file?

i'm on office 2007 and my email provider is optusnet.com .au this is my personal ISP

I'm in an office environment so my emails go thru the iinet server at the office then thru my optus server I presume.

try this registry fix open up registry go to start menu --> search regedit and open itLocate and then select the following registry subkeys:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\PreferencesOn the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.Type DisableTNEF, and then press Enter.Right-click DisableTNEF, and then click Modify.In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.Exit Registry Editor.Restart the computer.

press the start menu key on keyboard and letter R at same time then type regedit.exe and click ok

I have sent emails to a couple of guys in the office and the files have thru as pdf as hoped, however my copies have converted to winmail.dat in my crm salesforce program?

Email is not being sent from Outlook, its through another program? Is it a known program or something custom?
