its probably having issues downloading that many emails. can you move certain emails into like an archive folder and not sync that folder with Windows Live
The transfer is still going on?
Can you just uninstall WL from home computer, delete the folders then set it up again.
folders should be stored here C:\users\nameOfProfile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mai
You can do it in Thunderbird, under settings there is a place for local folders

I don't know what its doing, I would just remove it from home computer with folders and start over
