Recently my HTC1 has stopped sending emails, forwarding, replying or composing. The screen comes up with "Mail has stopped unexpectedly, would you like to send an error report to HTC? When I reply to this it just spins and goes nowhere?

TPG & Vodaphone 2 emails addresses accessed from the phone, 1 work, 1 personal - yes all other apps working correctly

- Open Settings , then open Applications -> Application manager

, then swipe from right to left until you get the option All

, then scroll down, then tap on the item Mail (and/or item Email)

, then tap on Clear data and confirm yes

, then press and hold Power on/off button on the phone , then select Restart option, and confirm, then open mail and check.

Apparently the tips given earlier are not appropriate - apparently the headings listed under Applications in Settings don't exist - this phone is a HTC1, can you be a little more specific please?

Is it the HTC ONE model M7 or M8, etc.?

- Or you may have to go to Apps, then Settings, then from the Device section, tap on App manager

Sorry, was she able to clear data for the Mail / Email app successfully, but it did not work?

Can she try the CloudMagic Email app in Play Store?

Didn't work - all that has happened is the TPG email & support has been deleted, so access is even worse than before👎

- If yes, what happens when she enter the email settings below in any of the two email apps I've provided previously.

- Here are the TPG email settings:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3 or IMAP) mail.tpg.com.au

Incoming Port number: 110 (POP3) 143 (IMAP)

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) mail.tpg.com.au

Outgoing port number: 25

Email Username: Her TPG Username (likely her TPG email address)

Email Password: Her TPG Password (likely her TPG email password; it is case-sensitive)
