I'm having trouble connecting my google business mail to my personal mail account. I like to be able to send from one mail account and use as an alias. The google business email account is hosted by namecheap. When I attempt to connect as an alias on my personal gmail account, I get this error message:
Authentication failed. Please check your username/password.
[Server response: DNS Error: Address resolution of smtp.denimcoffeecompany.com. failed: Domain name not found code(0)

Assuming they are using the standard port everyone but gmail uses, that mail server is not set up.

I do not use outlook. If I sing in to***@******.*** on google, I can send.
But I want to link to that account and use as an alias using***@******.***

Do you have a google apps account, its a paid service....that's what lets you make aliases etc.

I go to my personal gmail, settings, accounts and import, send mail as, add another email address you own, fill in the info, then error

that doesn't make any sense, and thats from with in google....it's their own IPS. And the other accounts you have that do work, are set up exactly the same right?

They are set up the same way, but they are hosted by namecheap itself, so the server is different.

I never say anything 100%.....but like i started out on, no ports going into your domain are accepting connections

It's highly likely its on that end. I've never set up the googles accounts like you did, but im sure its straight forward and they looekd fine.

Hmmm, so in lay terms, something about Namecheap's dns is wrong? What should I try on Namecheap's side?

Not their DNS - But the mail ports they are using which should be 25 or 587 since you have ssl are not accepting connections

You know what, it's no wounder the ports are not working, *** UnKnown can't find smtp.denimcoffeecompany.com: Non-existent domain

smtp.denimcoffeecompany.com is not in DNS

That's the problem, i'm not sure how i missed that. They only put in the domain denimcoffeecompany.com which is needed obviously

That's the standard, some places do it a little differently, i can't believe they don't know. That's like asking someone from another state what your own zip code is.
