Do you know of any Outlook add-ins that would warn or prevent a user from sending emails with attachments that meet certain criteria? For example if the attachment file name starts with a certain word. Or if certain words appear inside the attachment. The need for this is to prevent secret information from being sent in in-secure attachements

Hi there Mark and welcome

There is an addin for this called Check outgoing emails in Outlook

You can specify rules to be applied when sending emails, such as keywords ect

You can download and test the add in here and it works for all versions of outlook
