Hi there and welcome
you still have access to the computer with outlook 2000 correct Gary?
Yes, 1 minute please as I type up the instructions
ok, then in outlook 2000 do the following please to export the contacts to a file
Then copy the file to the computer with outlook 2016
Click File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
This starts the Import and Export Wizard.
Choose Import from another program or file and then click Next.
Choose Comma Separated Values and click Next.
Browse to the .csv file you want to import.
Under Options, choose whether to replace duplicates (existing contacts), create duplicate contacts, or not import duplicates.
Click Next and choose the destination folder for your contacts. Contacts should be selected by default, but if it's not, scroll up or down until you find it. You can also choose a different folder, or create a new one.
Make sure the check box next to Import "*.csv" (your file) is selected.
Then once imported the contacts will then appear in outlook 2016
I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.
Else let me know the results please
yes but it is optional else you do the instructions I gave you please.
just return here like you are doing now, and post a message please.
ok, except it is a CSV file, not pst per the instructions I gave.
