Trying to get into AOL Mail and unable to do so. Keep getting "Report ID:Webstg-m03-20151019-133111". What do I need to do?

I suggest you to reset your browser, Safari once as given under:

  1. Start the Safari browser.

  2. On the Apple menu bar, click Safari and then do the following:

    • Select Preferences: On the Extensions tab, look for any suspicious plug-ins. If you find any suspicious extension in the list, click Uninstall to remove it.

    • Select Reset Safari: In the Reset Safari window, to restore the default settings of Safari, check all the boxes and then click Reset.

I'm on an Ipad and don't know how to do what you are telling me to do.

You can please reset Safari on iPad as given under:

On the iPad tap on Settings then Safari on the left pane.

You will see on the right side listed:

* Clear History

* Clear Cookies

* Clear Cache

Tap on each one to clear all of the store information and bring back to factory stored browser.

Ok, I did that and tried to log into aol mail and it just sits there and tries to connect to mail.aol.com without success until I just close out of it.

Emails are generally configured with IMAP or POP settings on the iPad device.

Could you please try to visit www.aol.com on any device like computer and then check then click Mail and try to login there.

Please let me know if you're able to login into your aol webmail account there or not.

If yes, please remove your AOL account from iPad and then re-add it again.

I can get to aol.com on my computer as well as the Ipad. It is only when I try to go to aol.mail from there on the Ipad that it just sits there trying to connect until I shut it off. No such problems on the computer, I can get to aol.mail just fine on it.

Turn off your computer.

Hold down ALT key and then start tapping F11(hitting UP and Down) while you restart your computer and follow on-screen instructions to restore it to factory settings.
