Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
There are often settings in Email systems or Email programs, that basically control whether, when you select an email message and then click on Delete, it either:
- removes the message permanently without putting it in the Trash
- removes the message but puts it in the Trash for now (and for some days to come.)
I have looked for such a 'deletion options settings' in Live Mail, but it may be there aren't any, except (in Desktop Windows Live Mail, if configured for IMAP rather than POP access):
Purge Deleted Items When Leaving IMAP Folders
and you may want to set that to be disabled.
If you don't have IMAP Windows Live Mail, then you might wish to look over these undeletion utilities:
The latter one at least, is Free of charge, and undeletes individual messages, as opposed to whole Inboxes or Folders.
