Have you added your GMail account in one of the e-mail clients, such as Microsoft Outlook?
I see you wrote that you hadn't received e-mail since Thursday, so I would like to know how you access your GMail account - is it via e-mail program on your computer, or you use a web browser and go to www.gmail.com to access the account?
Does your Gail address end with @gmail.com or with your company's name (custom domain)?

The confirmation link or code will be sent to the address you want to forward the e-mails to, which is in your case,***@******.***
So, check***@******.*** for any e-mails coming from Google.
In that case, this is not the GMail issue, but GoDaddy issue.
I thought forwarding itself didn't work.
I thought this was a GMail issue since the question title said "Just loaded Gmail on Thursday and havent received email since".
