I am sorry your having problems with your hotmail, i know this can be frustrating.
This is a widespread issue on hotmail servers and they are working to fix the problem.
I can assure you that all of your emails and incoming emails will not be effected.
One thing you can try is when you login add an "s" after the http in the address displayed. It should look like https:// and leave the other part of the address the way it is.
If this does not work then you can try enabling HTTPS:
In your inbox click on Options at the top left then More Options
Click on Advanced Privacy Settings on the right side.
Select Go To HTTPS Settings
You may have to login again
Choose "Use HTTPS automatically" and Save.
Alternatively you can go to https://account.live.com/managessl?ru=http%3a%2f%2fmail.live.com%2fdefault.aspx%3frru%3dInbox to get the the HTTPS settings.
Try your mail and see if you can open folders, delete or move messages.
