We have Comcast which includes phone service. They have message service. However we have our own message machine that came with our phones. I had a call waiting that went to Comcast message service. We contacted Comcast and told them to delete that service and any msgs. However our phone screen reads Voicemail message via phone service. How do we get that off our phone screen.

Thanks for checking,

Those beeps are an indicator sent by the comcast voicemail service indicating that there are new messages there.

Though you may have called them, they have clearly not followed through on your request. Unfortunately this is a very common problem, comcast service is very poor and I see this same issue multiple times each day, where they simply don't turn off the voicemail as asked. You'll have to call them again, and possibly even again after that. I would recommend asking for a supervisor right away and tell them that you've asked before with no action taken.

I could help you to disable the detection function on the panasonic, so the indicator on the screen would go away, but that won't fix the underlying beeps or the actual messages still going to voicemail. That has to be done by comcast on their end.
