I somehow put my phone on MUTE and I do not know how to get it off of mute. Help!

This is a landline

Again, this not a smartphone. It is a land line

1) The FULL Model Number of the phone system you are working with? If this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the MAIN base station.

2) What are the SYMPTOMS of the phone being on MUTE? Example: Callers can not be heard, Your voice can not be heard, etc.?

3) What landline phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?

Cox Communications is the service provider
Can’t hear callers and they can’t hear me

OK - How many TOTAL cordless handsets do you have with this system and if more than one, do ALL handsets have this same issue?

Also, do you have a different phone - such as a basic corded phone - that can be connect to the phone line to TEST with?

I have three cordless handsets and all phones are affected. I do not have corded phone.

OK - do you have any OTHER SERVICE though Cox - such as internet and/or TV services?

And if so, do you have a "MAIN BOX" - sometimes called a modem - that all of those services go through?

I have cox internet. I see that you folks are going to bill an additional $31.00 on my card. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CHARGE ONE PENNY TO MY CARD. The information I was given was that I would be charged $5.00, and that it was fully refundable. I am an attorney, and honestly you do not want to mess with me. I am calling my card company right now and telling them not to charge one cent on my card.
