I cannot get my phone-KX-TGL463 to take a message. It answers but you cannot leave a message thAT CAN BE RECEIVED. WHAT TO DO?

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?

PANASONIC - KX-TGL463

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

SEVERAL WEEKS. SON CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT AS WELL

1) Do you have access to an outside phone - such as a cell phone - that can be used to make TEST CALLS to the Panasonic phone number? If so, please tell me EXACTLY what is heard when calling the Panasonic number and TRYING to leave a TEST MESSAGE.

2) What landline phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?

3) Do you have ANY other devices/phones (NOT part of the Panasonic system) attached to this same phone line?
