I am a member of the Geek Squad. I have been receiving notices from Malwarebytes that my protection from them is over in 1 hour. Before I renew my membership, I need to know if I really need this on my computer .... or if I am already covered by another service.

Technician's Assistant: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?

It is an HP TouchSmart desk computer.... purchased probably 8 years ago

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I really do not know how to trouble shoot for more information I just hate buying something I do not need
