Customer Question

I have a Teac 3300 tape recorder, where can I get Heads (In Mounts) for this machine?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: It probably dates back to the 1970's. I bought it from e-bay. I previously had a 7030 and wore it out.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Yes, Top end is way appended, sounds like heads are worn out.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes, where can I get new heads in mounts? I can install them, and probably align them, but relapping is not an option.

Research showed that the Head assy of a 3340 is compatible with the 3300. I will try to send some pictures of the Parts list and adjustment page.

Another place you can check for TEAC parts is www.oaktreevintage.com I hope those informations are helpful. Unfortunately there are not many places anymore carrying spare parts for Reel to Reel Tape decks. If I answered your question please provide me with a positive rating so I can close out the questions.
