My Samsung galaxy S 3 wont let me scroll I have to tap on

my Samsung galaxy S 3 wont let me scroll I have to tap on everything and I can't get to the right setting to get it to scroll again
JA: Has your Samsung done this before? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: no it's never done it before and Ive only had the phone for about a year now
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: the other day I went into settings to shut off the talk back to me mode and that's when it happened now the screen wont scroll to get to that area of settings
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?

While on your Home screen, double-tap your phone's menu key (located on the bottom left-hand side

Then single tap on "Settings" to select it and double-tap on it to open the "Settings"

Accessibility is in the "My Device" tab; however; you will still need to perform a swiping gesture to see it using two fingers.

Once you locate "Accessibility", single tap to select it and then double-tap to open it

In "Accessibility", locate "TalkBack" and single tap to select it followed by double-tapping to open it

On the "TalkBack" page, single tap on the "ON" switch to select it, then double-tap it or slide it to the left using two fingers to turn it "OFF

To "swipe" you need to use two fingers on the screen and swipe

Simultaneously press and hold the power button + volume up button + home key until the Samsung logo appears, then release only the power button. Release the volume up button and home key when the recovery screen appears.

From the Android system recovery screen, select wipe data/factory reset.

Utilize the volume up/down keys to highlight and the power button to select.

Select Yes -- delete all user data.

Allow several seconds for the factory data reset to complete.

Select reboot system now.

what is the home key and I just keep getting the power option button
