Customer Question

I have one of your safes. I write down the combination when we first got it, but now the combination does not work. I have tried going clockwise for the first #, then counterclockwise, then clockwise, and vice-versa. Nothing works. Am I doing something wrong?
JA: What device or product does this involve?
Customer: A safe: 17 X 16 X 18 inches with dial and opening handle on the front. I do not know where to find the model or serial #s.
JA: Who makes your home security system?
Customer: I do not have a home security system.
JA: What have you tried so far with your home security system?
Customer: I wrote that in the original message. The combination does not work.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no.

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

I would have to know the safe's brand, at least, to tell which order to turn the dial.

Do you have the safe's manual? or is it in the safe now?

And, look all around the safe, for any sign of a model name. If none can be seen, get the maker name or model name off the bill of sale for the safe, please.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
The safe is made by SentrySafe out of Rochester NY. We can"t find the manual. There are a couple #s on a sticker on the front of the safe. I don"t know if they are the model/serial #, but here they are: MSW3110 andBA368003.

Is your combination 3 numbers, or 4 numbers? don't tell me what they are, just how many of them there are (this is not a private forum, your combination will be visible to anyone if you post it here.)

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Actually I found a phone # for the company and they gave the information I need, so I won"t need your services anymore. Do i get my $5 back?

Probably. Thank you for asking your question here.
