JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?

JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

If you'd like to record a new message,

take the handset and key in MENU#302

up/down to YES

press Select

speak your message into the handset, and when done press STOP

then OFF.

You need to do this in standby mode meaning do not press talk first

just press MENU

then press #

then 3

then 0

then 2

Then use the up/down button to choose YES on the screen

press OK

then it starts recording, speak your message into the microphone

then when you are done press STOP

then OFF

Then the new message has been recorded and you are done

when i press menu caller list comes on and the 302 does not show

You are missing a step

after menu you have to press #, then you type in 302
