I am getting a blue screen on a jvc projector. It is a jvc

JA: Hello. What seems to be the problem?
Customer: I am getting a blue screen on a jvc projector.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your JVC is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It is a jvc dla-x55r and it is about 4 years old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It's been happing for about 2 years now. I have it connected to a Yamaha A/V. I also have an AppleTV but it always works fine.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?

Hello, A blue screen indicates a loss of video from the "Source". So whatever Input is giving you the blue screen is causing the issue. You mentioned "I also have an Apple TV but it always works fine". Please clarify what you mean by that? The Apple TV is also connected to the projector and doesn't give a blue screen? If so, then specifically what "Source" IS giving you a blue screen (DVD player, Cable Box, etc.)?
