I have a pioneer AVH P1400 DVD radio and when I reinstalled

Customer Question

I have a pioneer AVH P1400 DVD radio and when I reinstalled it (I bought new speakers) I connected the rear camera incorrectly. How can I remove the radio from my dash without taking it apart
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Pioneer is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: AVH P1400 dvd
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I know what I did, I just need to remove the radio- how do I do that
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Generally speaking, with dash-mounted device (though it may depend a lot upon what car or truck you have it in!) you get down on the floor with the door open, and look up under the dash devices, undo a fastener or two there, and push the device(s) out of the dash from behind. You may also have to undo wire connectors, perhaps - if you do, note them down for sure and without mistake! as to how they go back.

Let me know how it goes, or if you need other advice.
