Customer Question

I have a ScreenPlay By InFocus 5700 projector and I have replaced the lamp. Now when I plug in the power and push the start button it works for a few minutes and then the lite near the start button starts to flash red and the lamp shuts down. I have tried holding the 2 brightness buttons for 10 seconds to re set the lamp timer.
Is there another setting I need to do ?

Hi John,
I am Pete, and I'll be happy to assist with your question today.
There aren't any other settings you need to do to reset the lamp hours.
Did you have the same symptoms before replacing the lamp, or are you just seeing this occur after replacing the lamp?
What type of lamp did you replace it with? Is it a genuine InFocus lamp?
What happens if you swap the old lamp back in again?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

The projector was working before I replaced the lamp.

I replaced with InFocus lamp.

Same problem if I put the old lamp back.
