Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

You are wanting to disable the volume indicator bar/number that shows on the tv, when you change the volume on the yamaha?

Thanks for confirming,

first fold down the front door/panel on the yamaha, at the top left corner there you'll see an On Screen button

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
oK, sorry for delay...I have to refresh screen each time to see your reply,,,I see the button
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

No problem, take your time.

Pressing either that, or the Display button on the remote, should toggle the feature on/off

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
that doesnt work
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I tried both, neither work to make the display go away
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

Okay go into the on screen menu, under options, then Video Mode, and set it to Digital (not processing) and let me know if that helps.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it was on Digital already
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

That should be off then. Put it to processing, exit out, test, then put it back.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I tried it in both, it is still there, went back to Digital and its still there
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I thought it would be simple, I have to go to sleep now
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

There is something else going on then, that is the primary setting that would affect this.

Go ahead and go to bed, if you don't mind, and give me a bit of time to dig into this further and see if I can find some other options for you, and check back with me tomorrow.
Thanks,

Nathan
