Hello, and welcome.

My name is ***** ***** I will be glad to help.

Depending on the manufacturer and model number of the safe, you could probably get the combination from the maker, but you must have both the serial number and model number to do this.

If the safe should be made by Sentry (the one we get the most questions about), you will need not only the two aforementioned numbers, but also a Notary Form, proving safe ownership. Since the tenant abandoned it, you, the owner, etc., can say it belongs to you. Here is the site with all the instructions you need, to recover the combination, if the maker is Sentry:

If your safe is made by a different company, please let me know and I will be happy to continue helping. In addition, ask for an owner's manual from whichever company, so you have instructions on how to open the safe, for the future.

If you're not able to locate the information needed to retrieve the combination, you can also call a local locksmith or safe technician to have the safe drilled open.

I hope this helped and wish you much good luck with the safe!

Please be so kind as to rate my answer with positive feedback, as that is the only way I receive recognition for my assistance. Thank you very much!
