Palm Desktop! :-) You have been my preferred and only

Customer Question

Hello Palm Desktop! :-)
You have been my preferred and only computer calendar on all of my computers for many years.
The main current problem is when I load info and date on a selected day and click to save it I get a refusal that is noted: “access to Palm OS is denied”. That is the short notice but when you see the loading and attempted saving process you’ll see the entire notification.
Either you can watch me go through that process or you can do it through your direct connection to my laptop. Your choice. Connect to this computer as soon as you will.
I just tried to “update” but didn’t know what to choose on the list.
Thank You
Michael Luttrell (I also go by Mike)
FYI I will be in touch again probably tomorrow from my desktop computer because I have not been able to access my Palm Desktop on my desktop computer for a while.

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

If your Palm Desktop is, as a program on your computer, simply not opening / not starting up, then you will need to uninstall it (after backing up what files on it are yours), restart your computer, then install the Palm Desktop anew from a new source, e.g. this one:

If it is your Palm device that is not accessing, then you may have a problem with your Palm device, not the Palm Desktop software. Try a different USB port, a different USB cable, and see if that helps. And let me know the details, what device it is, and so forth, if that is the case. Thanks.
