Customer Question

I have a Kindle Voyage. Recently, I was in my new car and set the Kindle down in a rectangular area by the front seat where one can charge a smartphone by pressing a button and laying the phone down on it. The device was not on. I did not push the button. But since I left the car, I get only a message asking for my passcode. I don't know what that is. Can you help me, and will I get my Kindle working again?

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

Can you tell me exactly what it is asking for?
A security/lock code to turn the kindle on?
A wifi password?
Or your amazon account password?
