I have a small battery powered light panel with 160 led diodes.

Customer Question

I have a small battery powered light panel with 160 led diodes. I wish to swap out the diodes for a different colour temperature and expect the voltage may be a factor.
I have a basic multi meter and the specs for the new diodes.
Current unit showed 5.5V operating at the leds. Unsure what other readings to take or how to find them.
New led specs are:
peak forward current 100mA
Radiant power 30mW
Reverse voltage 5V
Forward voltage 3.5V
Maximum forward voltage 4V
I don't understand all of these numbers and need to know if the new diodes will function or if the circuitry needs to be altered?

If you select equivalent diodes then they can be swapped in without having to alter the rest of the circuitry.
