Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The Model Number of the MAIN BASE UNIT of the phone system you are working with? That should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the main base unit and START with KX-TG (but have no "A").

NOTE: While checking for the model of the MAIN BASE UNIT, also check that the AC power adapter is plugged into an ACTIVE power socket or power strip.

2) Do you have ANY other devices (phones, fax, alarm system, etc.) attached to this same phone line (not part of the MAIN system), and if so, are they working properly?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The phone model is KX-TGA470-B Panasonic

Hi again,

That model (KX-TGA470) is for a single cordless handset and/or remote charger.

Please find the MAIN BASE UNIT (LARGER base that connects to the phone line AND an AC adapter cord), and see if you can find the model number printed on the bottom or back of the base (usually on a sticker).

I have attached an image of a SYSTEM - showing the MAIN BASE UNIT below - as an example of what to look for.
