I ordered a new usb cable my nuvi52km to replace one I

I ordered a new usb cable for updating my nuvi52km to replace one I misplaced after I received notification of new updates. Upon trying to update it goes through steps to point of proceed to the next step. There is no place to click on the next step. I thought I may have received the wrong usb cable, have tried several times and each time the same thing.
