Customer Question

Good evening, I have a problem with my Kindle Keyboard, I am unable to turn on the wireless/ 3G. I have tried the three recommended options, ie. through Settings turning wireless OFF/ON, RESTART, and holding the power switch for 15 secs before releasing. All to no effect. What next do you suggest please.
Also, in researching the above problem, I have just noticed that I have no archived items, they have mysteriously disappeared. This in no great loss as I guess I could ressurect/recover any kindle books via my computer account. Am I correct is this? Could this have any relevance to my problem with wireless?

I'm sorry about the issue. Do you have a windows or mac computer?

- The wireless antenna may be bad, but can you please try pressing (or sliding) and holding the power switch on the kindle for about 45 seconds, then turn it back on and check wireless.

- If that does not work, please press Menu on the kindle, then scroll down to Settings, and enter. Then scroll down to Restore to factory defaults, and enter, then OK to confirm, then check wireless. Video instructions:

- If all fails, the wireless antenna on the kindle is bad. But you can easily connect the kindle to the computer, then transfer books to the kindle through the computer. Please click on the website below for full instructions:

- Also, you can read all your books on the computer at the website below:

Note: You will always have access to your books in your Amazon account at the website

; you can always access your books on any device, such as kindle ereader, computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.
