Says it cannot unlock maps. Then when I t play and OK it

Says it cannot unlock maps. Then when I hit play and OK it says, No results found. Enter a new search, and try again. I hit review it says Find a Golf Course, but not able to pull up any info. Cannot unlock screen, I never Lock Screen, sometimes it tells me to touch dots to calibrate but still nothing.

Hello my name is Michael.

I looks like your G5 has to be Reset back to its Factory Settings in order to properly work again.

There are a few instances in which it will be necessary to perform a master reset on the Approach G5 including:

  • Not receiving a satellite signal
  • Restoring the factory default settings
  • Not functioning properly
  • Irrational behavior.

The reset will erase club averages calculated on the Approach G5, but the Scorecards will not be deleted.

To perform the master reset:

  1. Power Approach off
  2. Press and hold on the upper left corner of display
  3. Power device on while still maintaining pressure on display
  4. Release upper left side of display when Do you really want to erase all user data? message appears
  5. Touch Yes

The Approach is now reset. Leave the device outside with a clear view of the sky for up to 20 minutes to acquire satellite data.
