I have a bose model #614810 sound system. (radio,cdplayer)

Customer Question

I have a bose model #614810 sound system. (radio, cdplayer) the accoustimass is plugged in. I hear bass but no sound coming out of the speakers. I checked the outputs for the speakers and I'm getting 8.23 ohms out of the output connectors. what could be causing this problem?

Hello, I'm not sure how you're seeing 8 ohms to the speakers, there is no impedance "going to" the speakers. The speakers themselves dictate what the impedance is that the receiver/amplifier sees.

Can you please find me the model number of the Bose Acoustimass system?

I reattached the cables to the acoustimass and to the unit and everything is working fine.
