Hi, did you try to restart the PCR-T470?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I uplugged it and turned the switch off. When it is turned back on, It gives message to (enter for initialization or clear to abort) I have tried both and cash register is not resetting.
Expert:  dileepchacko replied 7 years ago.
actually the meaning of E001 is "Wrong mode" (Mode switch position changed before finalization).

the solution for that is : Return the mode switch to its original setting and finalize the operation.

the mode is depending on, in which mode your operating the cash register

I have manual and am following instructions to no avail. I will go to page 21 to veiw modes. I need some clarification as to why this is not working.
Expert:  dileepchacko replied 7 years ago.

Hi, If your using one mode for eg: PGM ( program), used for cash register programming. you please do not change the mode until its complete operation. The problem is, if your operating in different mode, In middle of operation you do not change the mode.

Thanks and regards
