An old CR-68 Compurhythm. After about 20 seconds the clock

Customer Question

An old CR-68 Compurhythm. After about 20 seconds the clock pulse bleeds through the audio like a loud machine gun. I have no schematic for this.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Roland CR-68, probably 35 years old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Tried nothing because of no schematic info. It's been sitting for some time
JA: Anything else you want the instrument expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: That's all

Hello my name is ***** ***** I am a Roland certified technician. From the problem and the age of the unit it sounds like you need to replace the filter capacitors. If you would like to try working on it yourself I can supply the service manual?
