Hi there

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok so what do you suggest might be the problem with my noise situation?
Expert:  ITPeter replied 1 year ago.

Is the noise continuous, and can you hear it throughout the track?

Does it sound like static?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it does sound like static and it is continuous it is only present in the recording from the tracks. I have 12 tracks to make up the song all mixed and ready to record on to cd. The noise is always on the finished recorded cd.

Do you have a mic plugged in? If yes, then try removing it.

Also check all cable connections for any loose or badly connected cables, or any signs of damage.

If nothing obvious is found, then the problem may be due to a failure in the power supply area resulting in interference.

No loose cables or faulty power supply. When Tascam 2488 is burning a cd there are no mics on. Are you familiar with the Tascam 2488? From your comments I think not so please refund my money.

Sorry I will continue just getting frustrated. The cd played is working fine it's just when burning a cd from my recorded tracks that the static noise appears.

Can you tell me if it is a problem with the cd burner can I connect an external cd writer and burn from the tascam tracks to that?
