This problem can occur when dust and debris accumulates under the keys and prevents them from making good contact with the contact pads under them.

You can try cleaning it out temporarily by spraying canned air under the keys, however the best long term solution is to disassemble the keyboard and clean the contact pads by rubbing them with a cloth soaked in alcohol solution.
