Customer Question

My VGA-7 is suffering from a failed firmware update attempt. Is there something I can do, or should I just find a repair center?

Hi Hannon,

You can try a factory reset:

1. Press and hold the WRITE button while turning the power on.

2. Release WRITE, and then press the WRITE button again to execute the Factory Reset.

3. When the Factory Reset is complete, “U01″ shows in the display.

If that doesn't work, then it will need to be returned to a Roland service center to have the firmware reinstalled using their specialist equipment.
