Hello, my name is Rusty. Are you able to take it apart and fix it with my instructions, or are you uncomfortable doing that?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had no idea I could take this apart, but am willing to try...

Are you going to guide me through this tonight? Send me a manual? Contact me again and see if it's fixed? Work with me until the problem is resolved?
Thanks

It can come apart, most Clavinovas are built the same way. The keys stick up or down when the key breaks underneath the visible part of the key. They are available from Yamaha, this just takes a little patience. Be sure to unplug it, and don't wear socks or anything that will cause you to build up static.

Click here for a video how to take apart a Clavinova. Stop when he gets to the keys.

Click here for your service manual to see detailed parts.

I'll be here for questions along the way.
