Customer Question

I want to receive a click track via midi and obviously do not want audience to hear. How do I configure my TD 30 to do that?

Hi there,

It is not possible to configure a separate click track.

You are going to need to use a separate piece of equipment for the click.

Are you saying its not possible to receive a click track from a midi source via a midi input? I can do that on a TD9 but not on the latest and greatest Roland.
Expert:  ITPeter replied 1 year ago.

It is possible, but not to receive it without the audience hearing it.

I was hoping to pan click to left channel and have the rest of the kit panned right, then run to amp via right channel only.

If you can get the click to output on one channel only, then yes that would work...
