I own a digital Yamaha piano. Pressing some keys produces no sound. Other keys produce the wrong sound. Can this be fixed?

Hi there,

This can happen if the electronic contacts underneath the keys are dirty.

You can try cleaning them by fitting a Q-tip underneath the keys.

If that is not possible or if it does not help, then the keyboard will need to be disassembled and properly cleaned using contact cleaner spray.
