Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
For your first concern, please go to *****
and make sure that the option for
Use virtual instruments and effects
is selected / checked / enabled. Then you exit from the Sibelius program, and you go to the
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Sibelius 7
folder, and you select and then remove the
Playback Configurations
folder found there. Then you restart your computer. Then restart Sibelius, and the sound configuration should be in the correct shape to play through Windows Media Player.
For the second problem:
1. decide what score you want deleted, by name.
2. then File - Close all currently open scores (or at very minimum, all the ones you intend to delete.
3. go to
File - Open
(not because you are opening a file, but because you are selecting a file in the folder that will appear when you go to File - Open, normally it appears at least...) and select the one file at a time that you want to delete, then press Del key, and approve the delete.
If this completes the case as far as you are concerned, please rate my Answer - thanks. (If not, let me know for further advice free of additional charge..)
