No, you are safe.

Ask Your Own Electrical Question

You can make a simple test to verify. Put a portable radio on your desk to see if you get static.

Ask Your Own Electrical Question

Are you experiencing any issues with the computer screen?

Ask Your Own Electrical Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
I'm concerned about EMF / ELF exposure - not sure how RF static from a radio would factor in.
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
No issue with computer screen. But that's not the issue. Purpose of the question has to do with health concerns/occupational/workplace safety spending long hours so close to the office powerfeed (the box with 720Amps worth of breakers.

Panels are in use in many close applications and no issue with EMF/ELF have ever been noted by electricians nation wise. Your concerns are unfounded.

Do these panels typically have ratings specifying expected EMF/ELF emissions (in mG) ?

No they don't. You might try contacting the manufacturer's customer service for their test results. If there was a potential for the dangers it would be addressed on the equipment and in all trade publications.

Interesting but inconclusive. As I said, there has been no trade publication providing a warning. Our industry takes safety concerns serious. We don't want to hurt anyone and don't want to be involved in a law suit.
