Customer Question
My new house has recessed...
My new house has recessed lights (can send picture) - and I am installing certain lightbulbs that will only fit if I remove this plastic/shiny inset (I assume to disperse and refract light down) however I want to make sure it's not also their to stop anything else (like stopping the heat from melting the components or the stuffing in ceiling near the recess.
Let me know if you can help with an answer from experience of working with electronics/lights

I think you might have to change out that bulb.......I have had problems with them before ....they will make special thin neck ones for the recessed lights.........you will find them on this page on how bright you want .....they could be ordered .........sorry I didn't think to look what country
