Be waiting then,

Would you be able to clip the wire tie holding down the bundle of wire and spread the wire bundles out a bit then upload another pic? I would like to get a picture of what wires go into what wire nuts. I'm trying to see if the white wires going into your capacitor are parallel inputs or outputs

Ask Your Own Electrical Question

got them. Can you verify that there are no other white wires in any of those other crimp connections? I can't quite see them all.

Ask Your Own Electrical Question
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
all whites are togheter no mater from
black to black from motor
red capacitor to red fam motor

Yes got it. That confirms my suspicions that your capacitor just has a parallel input. You can use a 2 wire capacitor and wire the 2 white wires together with one wire of the new capacitor I have linked to. The one I found is the same micro farad rating but the voltage rating is higher. That is no problem since capacitor voltage rating are just the maximum voltage it can tolerate. You can always go with a higher rated voltage but not a lower one. For example I found several 4uf 250VAC capacitors but since yours is rate 300VAC I couldn't use those.

This one is 37X25X16MM which equals 1-1/2" x 1" X 5/8". You will have to measure yours to see if it will fit your space. Let me know

The one in the ebay site is 2 wires which I understood you and voltage is 500 V but is 5uf in the pictures ?
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
also de variance is +5 would that make a problem as it gets current fluctuations?
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
my capacitor is *10 -0

Yes 500 VAC my mistake I was thinking of one I saw earlier. Yes that seller sells multiple different capacitors with different ratings but uses the same picture for each one because they're the same physical size

Ask Your Own Electrical Question

No the tolerance is fine. All that means is that through manufacturing processes the output capacitance will be plus or minus 10%. A lower number means a more exact output, usually indicating a better quality construction and materials

Ask Your Own Electrical Question

For example when measuring your old capacitor you would expect to see 3.6uf to 4.4uf. Any more or less would indicate a bad capacitor. The new one has an acceptable range of 3.8 to 4.2uf before you would consider it to have gone bad
