How may I help you?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I have a cabin in northern minnesota and I need to fix some wiring before I can sell it. I have 3 wires coming out of my cabin and running to 3 places: my shed (30 feet), my septic pump (35 feet away) and my dock area (200 feet away). They come out of the cabin and are above ground for about 10 feet and then go underground with no cabling. What are my options to fix this properly?

What is the load at the dock? Are all 3 on one circuit?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Only lights on a pole and one GFI outlet.
Expert:  Mike G. replied 5 months ago.

All underground wiring should be in PVC conduit at a 18" depth. The run to the dock should be #10 wire because of voltage drop. The others may be #12 wire.

How do I safely dig or trench over my service power going to the garage? I assume that is buried 24 inches?

Correction on the wire size to the dock

You need a #6. Carefully dig by hand over service wires.
