Hi we have a ge cafe induction cooktop 30" trying to wire it to house wire. Cooktop comes with 3 wires red, black and green but house
Cable has four wires red, black white and ground. What do we do with white wire? Red to red black to black green to ground wire what about white one from house wire ? Do we just close it ?

1) Cap off the white neutral wire with a wire nut as it will not be used.
