how do make an adaptor to go from a 6-50 from my plasma cutter to connect to my welder generator which hasd a 14 -50 ttype plug

Customer: as of today
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes i have a 4 wire 14-50 caqble and plug and a6-50r recepticle
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: how do i connect the 3 wire to the 4 wire whereas one wire is not in use?

1) There is no neutral wire on a NEMA 6-50. Only 2 hots and a ground.

2) Therefore, cap off the neutral with a wirenut as it will not be used.
