I"m wiring a couple of pendant lights in the kitchen i have a power source up in the attic and a dimmer switch as well as an on/off already wired up to the source. does that make the dimmer a three way as well as the other do i correctly wire my lights ?

Your description of the switches indicate they are 3 way. Are you intending on using an existing ceiling outlet or outlets? If not what do you intend doing with existing outlets?
