Why is my 50 amp oven breaker controlling all of my

Customer Question

Why is my 50 amp oven breaker controlling all of my breakers. If I have the 50 amp on, and I turn the bedroom breaker off, I still have power in the bedroom. If I turn the 50 amp off, then I can turn each breaker on and off.

Hi, I'm Mike G and I'll be assisting you. I suspect you have a split buss panel and the 50A breaker is mis-marked. If you could send a picture, I could confirm.

I have a split buss but all I did was move the outlet from one wall to anouthe. It was working fine and now I have this problem. I can't send a picture at this time. Could the breaker have went bad
