Our oven gave out a red flash today and now it will not

Customer Question

our oven gave out a red flash today and now it will not heat. I have turned off the power supply to the stove at the switchboard but have not removed the fuse from the fuse box.
will this be sufficient to ensure no electrical fire until I contact an electrician in the morning?

With the oven off and also off at the fuse, you'll be safe. No power, no danger.
