Customer Question

I bought a used 2008 sovereign hotsprings spa and can not get 220 v to the jet pump. It only shows 110v when I test it at the mother board terminals. Motor overheats and shuts down.

Hello and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist you with your electrical question.

1) What is the voltage rating of the spa? A combination of 120 & 240 volts or only 240 volts?

2) Have you confirmed voltage at the GFCI LINE side disconnect lugs?

3) Have you also confirmed voltage at the LOAD side of the GFCI disconnect under a "no load" condition?
